The Collaborative Initiative with SSAU
The first international collaboration soon followed. On 17 June 2016, the Director-General of ACCIMT signed an MoU with Samara State Aerospace University (SSAU), Russian Federation, on the sidelines of the 59th session of UNCOPUOS in Vienna.
In August 2016, a team of experts headed by Prof Igor Belekonov, Head of Space Research Department of the Samara State Aerospace University (SSAU), conducted a Workshop on nano-satellite mission planning for Sri Lankan engineers, at ACCIMT.
